Module Details
ProDIGIQ's Flight Operations System, NAXOS, includes the Crew Scheduling Module which provides an intuitive platform for the management of military aircrew schedules. The Module automates the process of aircrew planning and assignment for military organizations. The Module incorporates various rules, such as seniority, currency, crew qualifications, regulatory compliance, and military-specific rules to create robust crew schedules. NAXOS enables schedulers to define custom rules to meet regulatory compliance (e.g. 14 CFR Part 117, Flight and Duty Limitations and Rest Requirements: Flightcrew Members) as well as internal military operational rules (e.g. Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-202 Volume 3, General Flight Rules). Schedulers also have the ability to swiftly adjust schedules due to unforeseen circumstances, such as mission changes, mechanical issues, flight delays, etc
Aircraft commanders, pilots, loadmasters, other key personnel can easily access all schedules, including flight schedules, training schedules, and additional events. The Module provides a global view of assignments. The Module includes a Shift Calendar for visibility of assigned shifts, open shifts, added shifts and available aircrew. The Module's Duty Hour Monitor tracks the number of hours remaining for the week, month, and year, increasing transparency on crew's actual duty hours. Schedulers have increased visibility of key insights on the Module's dashboard. The Crew Scheduling Module is fully integrated with all other NAXOS modules for seamless interconnectivity and transfer of data.

Additional Subject Information
Crew scheduling is a laborious and time-consuming process across squadrons. Military organizations have several aircrew to manage but limited time and resources to efficiently schedule crew members. This challenge is further complicated by the various factors that must be considered for crew scheduling, such as seniority, crew qualifications, currency, regulatory compliance and internal military rules. Even after all this is incorporated to create crew schedules, unexpected circumstances such as flight delays, mission changes, mechanical issues etc. can impact crew schedules.
Obtaining software for crew scheduling is crucial for efficient military flight operations. Flight operations software can help implement military-specific rule-based crew scheduling and assist with crew planning for optimized crew utilization. Flight operations software can create robust flight crew schedules, allow for the flexibility to adjust flight schedules due to unexpected circumstances, and provide aircrew with real-time updates of any changes for seamless military flight operations.
